I have downloaded the professional 14 Demo to test it before purchasing the product since my friend recommeded it to me and the demo version does everything the purchased version does. However after testing it briefly, I have noticed that in step 4 while creating the layout of content, the demo version doesn't have the Login/Logout object managemnet (see attached image) like my friends version does.
Am I using an out of date demo, or is there a way for me to implement the same feature to test on my site even though I don't have the object icon?
Thanks

go in step4 top right to manage button, refresh next page with button on top.
There you have all items same as your friend. install the login and logout button and then it will be available in the page under the correct pulldown menu.
I have X5 pro v12 & I cannot see this object. Please can you advise as to why ?
Just to add , I cannot see the Login/Logout object. No matter what I do. (manage objects, refresh etc).
The only way I can forec a login is via the Access Page in teh control panel. But this does not have a logout page which I need for after users have edited a Dynamic Object.
Thanks
Hello John
In Object administration
Choose the update function.
You should then - if you select : all categories - be able to see the login object(s)
Kind regards

The update function
John B. to the best of my knowledge the optional Login/Logout Object requires v13 or later (ie not available under Object Management in V12)
Hello John
Sorry - I could see you registered short time ago, and therefore assumed you were using the v 14.
In this post remember to choose : "Read more" so you see the whole post.
In ver. 12 you have to go to the 1 Template customisation
Then Choose the "Insert HTML code"
And then you see this
In the "Insert widgets" dropdown then choose login or logout.
In the box some code will be generated, and this code you can use to put in a HTML-object and use it where you want.
Hope you were helped by this.
Kind regards
John S.
