Unable to import products and unable to receive email after order is placed  en

I am using WAMP SERVER on my pc and having dynamic dns service running .

taken a dynamic dns (host) on ddns.net as

fairdeals365.ddns.net

Now the issues faced:

1) unable to import products to the list in shopping cart even followed the help if i get a working solution for one item i will follow the same for other products i want to sell on this site.

2) after a customer purchase an item on the site, he/she enter their details and email id etc.

Neither me (admin) receive any confirmation email of the order nor the customer gets it.

what could be wrong?

Hello Rohit

1 - Try to create one or more products in the shop. Then export these products. Take a look at the exported file, and see if the file you use for import, matches this file from the system. Then eventually edit the file so it matches.

2 - Some providers now only allow mails to be sent via PHP from their system, when the sender-id is a mailaddress from that system. I don't know if this is the issue with your provider, but I know it is for other ISP's.

will sendmail software help in sending those order to me. If I install the software on my pc where I have WAMP server and edit files which is mentioned for the same.

I just want that as soon as customer order on my site he/she receive a confirmation of the same and I also receive that order.

you can try out your hand with demo page created by me for the same at any of the following:

1) shagundeptstore.ddns.net

2) fairdeals.ddns.net

and

3) fairdeals.myvnc.com

just order something fill in your details which includes your email to check if you receive email or not. Make sure whatever you order is more than 250, minimum order amount. Its a demo page only i just want first to check everything working fine or should I go for other software other than Website x5 as it is not resolving my issue. I mailed them about the issue. and they told me to write a post.,

One more thing I checked on article which says I need to talk to my provider for the same issue.

They told me there is no such issue from their end. and told me to talk to software company Website X5 for this error or bug.

Hi Rohit, 

as far as the 1st issue in concerned, please explain me step by step what you do and what happens, also by attaching screenshots. 

As to the e-mails, please go to the /admin section of your website and do the mail test. You need to try the different scripts until you get all green and pass in that section. Then set the script in the program.

tried all medium mentioned in to test sending mail

for ready reference file attached.

my 1st question is not secondary. Until the 2nd is solved

tried every way out error is always

[2018-02-17 03:55:05] SMTP connect() failed.

tried with these settings

smtp.gmail.com

port: 465

encryption type: ssl

user id:"entered email id"

password: "entered password for the same"

===============

tried with hotmail id as well

settings as mentioned in outlook/hotmail and port as mentioned same error

[2018-02-17 03:55:05] SMTP connect() failed.

All done no need of help.

However, One thing is clear. Website X5 don't support a valid customer who bhought product from them for any kinda solution at all
