I want to include a shopping basket and a buy option to my products how do i do this?
I found the shopping cart but it does not show anywhere, and the only other icon i found was cart status.

Hi Sue,
You have to create a picture with a basket and put it in an Object on your page or your header.
You have many example in Pixabay.com
Then you insert a link on it and you choose this next option (in blue)

Thats brilliant i beleive shopping basket is sorted, ok how do we put somethin in the shopping basket?
