This is indeed strange, and possibly not something strictly related to the software's installation.

I'd like to ask you if you've tried and left it there processing, and if so, for how long.

This being said, should the software never finish installing this, please try and install the 2013 version of Visual C++ manually from here :

Should none of this work, please get back to me so that we might try something different.
