Hi Bjorn.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Exchange service requires a different approach to SMTP than the one the software uses for its default connection.
For this reason, this situation has been notified to the developers so that it might be discussed and examined properly.
For the moment though, there is no news on this particular issue, and the Exchange service is simply not integrable inside the software default interface, but would need you to apply additional code to the generated files.
