My understanding is that I need to have "googled702ec0f26b158ad.html" in the field marked: Verification metatag for Google Search Console, in order for Google Analytics to work

... or, as an alternative to <META>, ... delete the <META>, and download the file from Google:

1) - from the program;
2) - META TAG + Expert / HEAD panel;
3) - file at the root of the site;
... I report here again:
1) - ▪Verification metatag for Google Search Console: >> just enter the code:
ZYX *** XYZ
2) - >> Step 3 - Map > The Page Properties window| ▪Expert | ▪Custom Code | ▼Before closing the HEAD tag, ... paste:

3) - download the google file:
google12345 *** ect .html
and send the file to the root of the site (extra FTP, Filezille, etc...);

... if one of these options does not work, you have to register the problem on Google ...
