Is There A Limit To The Number Of Characters Permitted In A Text Box Cell.  en

I have created a custom template which really only consists of a header as I am wanting lots of white space. When I type into a text box cell and get up to around 989 characters with spaces I have an issue when displaying the page through preview or in my Chrome browser. I preview the site and move from say the home page to a page in a sub menu which has this number of characters in it and the header alignment moves.

For example if I display the home page and align the left hand edge of the header with a reference point on the screen and then display a page with more than 900 characters in a text box cell, the left hand edge of the header moves a couple of millimetres in relation to the position I have used as a point of reference. I have spent a lot of time trying to resolve this and it only seems to stop this behaviour when I reduce the number of characters in the text box cell.

It also seems problematic when there when using a soft return as lines wrap in the cell.  Other things that may contribute are indenting lines and mixing Webding characters at the start of a line to get bullet point type characters follwed by characters in Tahoma 10.  The main thing though seems to be to get down to around the 980 characters to get the header to stay put.

It not a show stopper but not nice from an asthetics point of view seeing the header leaping about.

Can someone advise whether there is a limit to the number of characters that can be entered into a text box cell or is there soemthing else I should be looking at.. Thx Derek

Folks I have been so focused on what has been happening on the left hand side of the screen I failed to realise that it was when a page was longer than the screen it had to move it over to insert a vertical scroll bar on the right hand side.  Can pages that fill a screen and don't require a right hand vertical scroll bar be positioned so that when another pages that does require one loads there is no perceiable movement.
