Really Long Save Time

On several occasions, the save function takes the better part of an hour to complete. It goes into a Saving Project and layout mode. My project is converted from version 8 and saves ok most of the time. But I have had two separate occasions where I am forced to sit and wait for it to save (This is not a hardware issue, never had this issue with Evo 8). Is this a known bug?

I also have this problem, saving a V8 to V9, can take hours, and it's only a 5 page site with text and 17 small jpegs.
Hallo, I read in one "Italian post" to try reducing the "maximun number of simultaneous process" (through "preferences).
I.e. a CPU double core does not need more that 2 or 4 simultaneous process.
I used this solution and It seems now faster in saving the prj.

i run a quad core cpu and had it on 10 and still had no problem.

Thanks I will give that a try! My machine has plenty of horsepower, but it is a fairly large project so I will see if that fixes it
