Multiple use of websitex5 on a pc 
Автор: Mike T.I have WebsiteX5 installed on both my desktop and laptop. As as a home user and not trying to use both the laptop and desktop at the same time, all works well.
But, I have recently set up a new account profile on the laptop for backup purposes, in case something goes wrong with my regular account profile. I want the backup account profile to be able to also run WebsiteX5.
When starting WebsiteX5 on this new profile account, I was asked for activation info, which I assume is because of the different account name.
I didn't want to continue, just in case activation for the newer profile caused an issue with the regular profile account.
So my question is :- If I activate Website X5 on the newer profile on my laptop, will everything be OK.
Bear in mind, I can't be on the 2 laptop profiles at the same time.
You can use 2 active profiles that's it.
I don't understand what an extra x5 profile will do for backup purposes.
Make sure you backup the project in step5 (export project) on another drive, that's all you need to backup to be safe. Use the profile where x5 is and all should be well. Or am i missing something?
x5 can always be downloaded and installed so you don't need to backup this (top right pulldown next to your name-> download)

Andre, Thanks for your swift response.
My references to backup were nothing to do with WebsiteX5 as such, but to do with the possible situation where my regular profile on the laptop became corrupt or unusable. Then I could quickly switch to using the 'backup' profile for any work I might need to do. Using WebsiteX5 would have been just possibly one I wished to work on.
However, I now know that in the event of my regular profile failing, I would either need to install WebsiteX5 on the 'backup' profile or switch to using the desktop.
By the way, I do backups (via the export function) after every update to my PC files before loading them onto the web.

Then you got it very well cuvered, i never had issues with profile's but then again everything can happen.
But you can reinstall quickly or use latop if you are in an hurry when this happens as you mention as well so i would not worry too much about it.
