Generic error Cart

I returned examle data. "Buj now" is working.

Generic Error depends only on products. How?

Try changing the PHP version to 7.3 or 8.0.
Please provide server logs. You can get this from your hosting provider.

Now, I first tested only 8 my products http://www.pejsankov.cz/test03/cartsearch/
PHP version 7.4, "Buy now" is working
http://www.pejsankov.cz/test02/cartsearch/ does not display products or it takes very very long time. There are 3550 products
And on test02 "Buy now" generates "Generic error" with PHP version 7.3 also. PHP 8.0 is not available.

Maybe a way to investigate. Probably you have a lot of products into your catalog !!
Try to check if you can increase with this value or other into your php.ini file to the provider.
Memory_limit = 192M
M is Megabytes
Normally 128M is the default value
And also try to see if you have some PHP error logs to the provider to help you to undertsand.

Hello Axel, yes, I have a lot of products. Now I have 3550 and I will need approximately 8000 products. So I would like to know the limits for products in e-commerce. May by I have too long description of product or the images are too big. But the "Generic error" appear when I clic button "Buy now" and in order is only one product.
The memory limit in php.ini is 256MB.
But in the php_error.log appear new lines when "Buy now" works and e-commerce sends order by e-mail succesfuly.

Yes, catalog with 410 products is working nice.
Catalog with 1089 products displays "Generic error"

I can confirm that the server seems to be returning errors, but it is not possible for me to see the real error just by looking at the website
Error 500 is a generic error. You need to contact your hosting provider about this error 500 specifically and ask them what is causing this
Once they tell you, let me know here so that I might advise on how to proceed

Same here - Generic error as the button "buy now" is pressed. PHP 8+ working. This wasn't an issue before. Provider didn't change anything. Noticed error since the last major update of Website X. Customer can buy tho it's a bit boggling to get an error.

Dear friends,
finally I installed my own server openSUSE 15.3, apache 2 HTTP server, PHP 7.4, MariaDB 10.5
Default value of memory_limit in php.ini was 128M and "Buy now" generated Generic Error.
In php.ini I increased parameter memory_limit from 128M to 1024M and now I have product catalog with 3550 products working (cartseach has 355 pages) and button "Buy now" works fine.
