Rajiv, you can modify the template structure to have a side menu for any resolution except mobile, you will then have sub menus, but unfortunately if you need to use the hamburger menu then I am afraid there is no side opening submenu. Many have asked for it but we do not think Incomedia will ever develop it.
At least with the latest versions you can choose to have the submenu open (in line) on mouse over

you mean never! (why this hard feeling against side submenus?)
Rajiv, whilst I cannot speak for Incomedia I would be pleasantly surprised if they ever implemented this based on their past history of fixing such "issues"
Hi Rajiv,
I had already reported a similar request in the past, but I will be happy to bring the attention back on this function.
Thanks! Kind regards.
There were older versions of WebSite X5, there were templates with a vertical menu bar, where the submenu items appeared to the side.
In this older template, the submenu is visible on the side in all resolutions, except for smartphone view, where the submenu is displayed above the vertical menu.
Hi!
If you are referring to a regular vertical menu, I confirm this option is still available, you need to open the Menu Object > Level Menu and define that it opens on the right. This option is however not available for Hamburger Menus, where sub-entries open underneath the main ones.
Thanks! Kind regards.
