New update 2022.3.5 will not download  en

I am trying to update to 2022.3.5 and it will not let me. I tried resetting the computer, and other things (I have not tried to uninstall) I feel like this question was answered but doing multiple searches I was unable to find it. I have stalled because I figured it would be fixed by now.. but it is not. 

I get an error message of close all programs... but they are closed

I cannot say whether other programs are interfering with the update program, e.g. antivirus programs, firewalls, VPN, proxy, cloud drives or similar.

If these programs are not the reason, then consider reinstalling WebSite X5.

To be on the safe side, create a backup copy of the projects and possibly also save them on a USB stick. Then reinstall WebSite X5.

Or wait for the moderators if you want to read their tips.

Lauren, have you been to your profile (top right this page), selected downloads and selected the most recent version (you will also find you license key there).

Does this then install for you?

(as indicated by Daniel, it is strongly recommended you temporarily disable any 3rd party av,malware,firewall or VPN)

I just got a chance. Taking off the firewall did not help. downloading from the site did. I am grateful it was an easy upload and it replaced my old files
