Link to specific point in a page

Hi All.
We wish to create a link to publish in a magazine which will take our customers to a specific point on a web page. Please could any one advise on how this could be done ? I am assuming this will be done by placing an anchor on the page but I am not sure how this would be written into the publication.
For example amwarkup.co.uk/technology.html (Anchor name?)

I have set the anchor it is how to publish the link to get to that anchor I am struggling with.
i.e amwarkup.co.uk/ventilation.html is the page but I want then to direct to the anchor named vantilation. This takes the user to the middle of the page.

The link to publisch should have the form
amwarkup.co.uk/ventilation.html#vantilation
is the site already published?

This leads me on to my next post I have uploaded ref animated GIF on this page. The image you see works as animated GIF in design mode, but not in preview or when uploaded.
