Main menu width set to same size or larger than hamburger but doesnt show?

The menu for a particular menu level shows fine as a hamburger with no word wrap with width set at 350, but doesnt show as main or level menu even if i set them as wider?

I have no idea what the post and the picture are trying to say.
Maybe show with a screenshot what it looks like under “3 Sitemap” and what settings have been made so that other users can imagine it.

The image shows the preview sceeen and it shows the menu items displaying fine in hamburger view with a width set to 350.
So the menu items should also show fine in the regular non hambuger view (even if i set it wider than 350)... But they dont.

Does it mean something like the screenshots below? Here in the normal menu there is a level that opens when you mouse over and shows further menu items.

If I change the source of the menu to the "test" level and only put 2 items in it, then I get this..... doesn't drop below as set....
New test - now with 2 levels and the display of the menu items under the main menu items.
The main menu items have a width of 150, so they are narrower so that many menu items are displayed before the hamburger menu appears.
The level menu items have a width of 350 to allow long product names to fit on one line.
