if you see that, it means that a PHP parameter called "display_errors" is currently active on your hosting space.
It should not be active on a website outside of the testing phase, and can cause errors to appear, such as the generic error.
Please disable this setting.

Regarding the export, have you already checked if all of the parameters you are using?
You could test if the same one work when using an external FTP software, such as FileZilla.
If you cannot go ahead with this kind of check, let me know and I can test this for you with a copy of your project with the FTP parameters in it.

could you please send me a copy of the project for further checks, as you have mentioned being able to reach the server with FileZilla?
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the Export the project option to generate an IWZIP file.
You can then upload the file with https://www.swisstransfer.com/ or similar services, and provide a download link at sales @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).
