For hours, the connection has been slow and intermittent when downloading and selecting a new website template. Only empty image frames appear.

Is your internet provider Telekom?
Many Telekom customers have problems with slow downloads or download cancellations.

No, Yettel is my service provider. Other sites load at a reasonable speed. Downloading WSX5 took 15 minutes, and it often froze for 1-2 seconds! The speed test showed maximum download and upload speeds.
There's probably nothing you can do other than try again and again at longer intervals and with a bit of luck it will work. I too can only try it several times until it finally works.

Everything is fine, the templates are now downloading quickly.
