My provider has advised me to upgrade our website's PHP settings to at least version 8.0. It's currently set to 7.4, but apparently, this version will no longer receive security updates starting January 1, 2026, and I'm therefore at risk. However, I'm having a problem with this. When I change the version to 8.0 or higher and go to my website/shop, my product pages aren't visible, and I get a server error (number 500). How can I fix this?

For WebSite X5, Incomedia recommends PHP 8.2 and I have set that up with my web hosting provider and there are no problems.
Error 500 is a general error given by the web server. The web hosting provider should be able to find the cause in its server error logs.
So contact the web hosting provider's support about the error.
My hosting provider told me today that the X5 application has serious security flaws in terms of logins for clients and webshops... I cannot run the webshop through this application according to their settings, but only through custom code... Unfortunately, the application must work with the php 8.3 version because otherwise it becomes vulnerable... That's what my hosting providers say...
@X5
many securities issues arr opened into Wsx5
but they prefer add a new IA feature ..... never as'ed by users.
just to win more $$$$$
and our issues are not important. We have paid and we renew the licence .... thinking fixes wiil be a available.
And No .... ecause IA is more important ....
it's a pity but too late
i have renewed mi licence for the last year.....
wsx5 is already out of date

I agree Axel, Incomedia has been heading towards web collapse for a good two years now... It seems to me that this may be intentional, to shut down the company or to find an excuse... We have been with it for so many years and have done business simply and quickly... Now, unfortunately, we have to switch to Wordpress, which tramples everything in front of it and brutally cuts down the competition... I don't understand why Indcomedia has such a bad business management... If I were running my business like that, it would have failed a long time ago...
