Exported images folder contains older gallery pictures

When I export the file to disc, the "images" folder,.contains gallery pictures and thumbnails that they are deleted. Which means that the "images" folder becomes a "monstrous 200mb while the gallery pictures I need are actually less than 100mb!
These pictures are not in the gallery object, they are deleted, I don't know how the x5 finds them and exports them in the images file.
How can I delete them?

Is going to 5, Optimize Project and delete unlinked sources any good for you?

Hello Dimitrios,
in addition to what was mentioned by Raoul, you could generate an IWZIP with the Export the project function found in Step 5 and make sure not to include backup files, as these older files may be stored there.
