Hi! I saw where a discussion was about an embedded text to speech object available. I want one too. In the meantime, I have Natural Reader on the bookmark bar to read out loud that I use when my eyes get tired. It doesn't actually solve the problem. I'll keep looking and let folks know if I found a reader that can be embedded in the header of a website. Until then, BYE!

I am now asked quite often whether a read-aloud function for the website contributes to digital accessibility. The short answer is no, reading functions such as ReadSpeaker, Web Reader and Co. do not contribute to accessibility. They are as unnecessary as supposedly automatic accessibility overlays and can even create barriers. Instead, invest the money in other improvements to your website. Here follows the long answer with an explanation.

I think I'll just leave it for now. The software I use can run through the whole site for accessibility. I'll run it next time I publish one of the sites I've already published. They're church site and have to be updated weekly. Thanks for the information.
