Hello Website X5 Support Team,
I am facing an issue with the product display order in my online store.
Whenever I upload a new product and preview or export my website, the newly added product does not appear at the top of the product list. Instead, it is displayed within its assigned category in alphabetical order.
What I would like is a "Newest First" or "Latest Published First" display order across my store. For example, if I upload five new products today, those five products should automatically appear at the top of the product listing, followed by the previously published products in chronological order.
At the moment, the software sorts the products alphabetically within each category (for example, Bracelets), rather than by the date they were published or added.
Could you please let me know:
Is there a setting to display products by publication date or latest added first?
If this feature is not currently available, is there any workaround or custom solution to achieve this?
If it is possible through custom code or another setting, could you please guide me step by step?
This functionality is very important for my store because I regularly add new products, and I want my customers to see the latest arrivals first.
I would appreciate your guidance and support.

unfortunately there is no option to sort the products from newest: the product Catalog will show the products of the chosen categories in alphabetic order, while the E-Commerce: Search
page will display them, by default in the order they are listed in in Step 1 - Settings ---> E-commerce.
The option to sort them by newest additions was reported as a suggestion in the past, I will add your feedback.
At the moment, what I could recommend is adding a dedicated Product Catalog object where you can choose only the newest products, updating it over time to reflect this, and place this either in a dedicated page for new products, or in a general catalog page.
