Cannot import site onto new PC

I uploaded a complete websitetwo weeks ago. Now I have installed x5 on my new computer. The trouble is I cannot import my old site onto the new computer to do updates on my site. Any help would be appreciated. I do not fancy having to redo the whole website - it is massive!! When I last tried to import it it said its created with a minor version - but it wasn't it was created with the same programme.

You followed these steps below ?
The import is for older versions and for exported projects with v9.
Go to your old pc and start your project, export it with the (step5) export project function. This creates a file you can import on your new pc.
Is your old pc exact same version ? or an updated or lower dated version ?

It is the exact version - same disc used on both pc's - That will be a ball ache cos old pc is now dismatled!

Please try to update WebsiteX5 because you are using an old version.
After you installed all updates try to open the project again.

I am using the latest version of the software. But thanks I got it sorted in the end
