I really do need some help answering my question:
Match The Local Menu Structure To The Target Directory (folder) Structure

I'm reposting my request under the 'problem' label as this is a real problem for me because I can't go live without answering the question and hence resolving the problem.
I'd be most obliged if someone from tech support would address the question, please?

When you set your post as private, it goes directly to tech support. You'll probably get a faster response this way.

Donna tech support will only support the program problems and not server issues.....
I can help you solve this as I have done in the past with others.... By remote!!
Because you have explained in a fashion about the workings of your server you are not understanding the principles!! You have everything mixed up as reffering to htdocs.
I cannot begin to explain everything to you as this would probably confuse you more.....
Should you need my help contact me below:

Frank,
thank you for your offer to help. It is very kind of you.
I'm sorry that I am 'not understanding the principles'. The concept of a multilevel local development menu structure matching a remote FTPed target directory structure, which is also multi level, is not hard for me to grasp, but I suppose there must be something I'm missing.
The idea that all local pages from a website that I've structured with multiple levels have to FTP into a single target folder (as X5 seems to demand) is something I find weird. I guess that's why my explanations have everything mixed up.
Anyway, I'd like to consider this issue closed as I've resolved the issue. It was as simple as manually editing the generated HTML and JScript.
Cheers,
Donna
