Loading version 9 into version 10??

i am trying to import my version 9 project - but this stupid admin interface cant find my project. how do you import a version 9 project. some clear instructions for this would be appreciated. it is VERY frustrating to have to do this everytime i upgrade . . I do like this program when I get it working . . but the file admin is very user unfriendly.
