Since some time I am invited to update WebsiteX5 Evolution (v9.1.6.1952). I didn't have the time and I am afraid. Last time I updated (v8 to v9) I had a lot of trouble because the used templates were all changed and nothing could be done to convert it correctly. In the end I did a rebuild of the website. Now I have a bit of time and I could try to do the update. Is it wise, or could I end up rebuilding the site again because of graphical changes or any other change? Thanks.

Hello P. R.,
the update in the same Version is always reccomended since it fixes issues present on it and it is completely different from updating from 8 to 9 since it refers to a different program.
The update in the same version is intended to improve the functionalities in the program you are using or to fix issues present on it.
You will not loose any template since the program will remain the same and it doesn't need to convert the projects. You will continue to use it normally like before.
Many thanks!

Well, at last I had some time to do the update. Helas! It didn't work: error 406 (see attached screendump). I restarted the computer, made shure everything was closed and restarted the update. Result was the same.
You were right, all remain the same....
Something I can do about it?
Thanks.
Hello P. R.,
Try to close the program completely and check also if in the task manager the program is still not running. Once done open the installation folder C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution and from there start the program ImUpdate.exe
If also this should not work, download the latest installer from your answers.websitex5.com profile in "Downloads" and install it.
Many thanks!

Thanks for your answer. The first option was a bit strange, because as I wrote before I had restarted the computer, so nothing was already started.
The last option did it. I don't know why the normal routine didn't work, maube you ought to review that procedure for the next time.
Thanks for now.
