I got this message when put Guestbook on my website.

'a problem has occured while adding the comment

I needed to change the Hex code to 0777 After downloading and installing free FTP software , I used CoffeeCup Free FTP.

Using this software I opened my site and found the 'Public' folder for my guestbook 'gb'. Then 'Selected' and then 'Right Click' it to open the menu. In the menu I selected 'Change Permision' and changed the Hex code to '0777'. Then clicked 'OK' and closed the programme.

This got rid of the message and my Guestbook is working correctly
