Index page not updating

Index page does not update? made changes to the site layout and all but index page have updated.
Specifically the drop down menu bar has updated on all pages except the index page.. any ideas why this would be? I have tried to re-upload the complete site , still same problem.

Just to be clear.. I made some changes to the index/homepage on my site, they do not upload when I upload the sote and also cannot see the homepage in the file on my hard drive.
I pressed save and ok after making the changes but does not seem to be saving to the hard drive.
When I add new pages they save fine, just seems to be the homepage that's the issue

ok, cant find the original email with the number, how do I find it on the installed program?
would have been on 1 of my email adresses: *** or *** .. june/july 2012

just did the upgrade to 10.0 so you will see my licence number on my profile now.
