Warren, I see that you use an older version of X5 (v8.09) there is an version v8.016

PLease upgrade and do a full upload again to see if this helps.

I tried what you said to do and it still doesn't work. It has the same problem. I read posts on the forum. So since i am running Windows 8 I tried running it in the administrator with a right click. That didn't work either. I would up grade at this time and pay for the upgrade but what would I do with the web site I am already running with the original program. I also don't know if I pay more money for an upgraded program if that would work either.

It's not possible to export the site in page 5 for easy transfer to another computer and try it on a different pc with win xp or something ?

You can also -if you want and you have no personal items in your project- send the project to me. I can test it in V8 on xp and in V9 to see what happens.

In addition to the other post were I sent you the files. You can go to www.wayneshotdeals.com and you can see what is happening when I try to upload it to the web. right after I hit the button to upload the files after it shows 100% loaded it says "Operation failed "error while enumerating the remote files.  All the pictures are in the picture file on this computer.

There is nothing wrong with your files. It looks like -as I understand from your last post- there are issues uploading it to your web provider.

There can be several issues for this;

• Can there be a firewall / virus program that blocks or slows down upload?  http://answers.websitex5.com/post/26665

• Is there enough space for your files ? You can check this usally in a seperate login site to get to your webserver portal.

• You could try uploading with a seperath ftp program:

I received your files, these are ok, not the project so i can't test this yet. Try the option above first and let me know how it works out.

Try uploading with Fillezilla .

Ok I checked the fire wall, cleaned all the viruses, tried fire fox, tried Fillezila, and ran all the fix programs , Fillezilla asked for the outside address, fire fox made no difference. Microsoft says the program isn't compatible with win 8.1. I tried running it in admin mode. It still trys to load but even when I can get it to load a box comes up and says "Unable to view list of files present on server." Down Load Failed. I have talked to all the guru's I can find. Still comes back to the program. However the files seem to work in the test mode. I just can't load them. Could my router be at fault? That was changed a month ago. I tried to put the files on another computer running win 7 but now I am trying to run it on two computers and I don't have a license for that one. It asked if I have permission to down load that file.. YIKES !!

Hello Warren,

You can run the program on 2 computers. If you have difficulties to unlock the program write me the computer code you get during the install procedure.

For Windows 8.1 please check if in Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off - if you deactivate Internet Explorer 11 it helps.

I switched browser to Fire Fox and saved the files to a thumbdrive and used another FTP Coffee Cup and up loaded it . I still have some problems with the check file . I tried to get rid of that and the pictures did up load but cant seem to get rid of the check file completely .. Thats where I am right now. I liked the way it used to work, it was easy then. Anyway I will keep you posted.

You can also export the project to disc so you will have immediatly all html files without the need of firfefox to save them and then you can use the FTP program to upload it.

What check file do you refer?
