Why won't Evolution 10 update?

I'm trying to update Evolution 10 to the latest version, but every time I try I get a 406 error message, and advice to close open programs.
I've done this and, as per advice from other people's questions with the same problem, I've turned off my firewall and anti-virus and tried to run the update as an administrator from the imUpdate file.
None of this works and I am unable to update the program. Please can you offer some suggestions as to what I can do?

Hi Rob,
Start the program using the 'run as administrator' and run the update rather than just running the upgrade as administrator when asked and the upgrade will complete OK.

If you tryed closing it with ctrl alt del just before update starts (like in many posts in answer is described) and firewall does not work also.
Then there is the option to download the new version completly (goto top right pulldown menu with profile) and goto download. Install this one that should always work.

Neither of those solutions worked, but I've downloaded the latest version of the complete program, installed it, and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks again.
