How do you display perhaps two lines of text with the words continue reading .... when clicked displays the full page of text, etc.

You could create a copy of the page, then set it to hidden.
Change the 2 lines to the full text.
Make a link on continue reading to that hidden page.
Let me know if this is what you mean.
