Uploading problems since upgrading to Evolution 11  en

Since upgrading to Evolution 11 we've been having a problem with the upload process. We regularly add an audio file to our website each week, editing just one page and inserting a new link in a table to one file. Yet when you try and upload the changes made since the last upload, it uploads EVERY audio file listed in that table. Evo 10 never used to do this, and I could just upload one audio file each week. Now updating our website takes an hour or more every week when it used to be a 2 minute job, and it's just re-uploading files that haven't changed.

We are looking at different ways we can structure our site but I don't see why we should have to change the layout of our website just because the new software is less efficient than the old version. Please help with any advice for how we can work differently or (preferably) provide a fix for it!

If you have any suggestions about changing the page layout the url is http://www.harvesterbirmingham.org.uk/sermons.html

Hello Graham,

What you can do to avoid the files to be uploaded is to copy the links of the already uploaded audio files in the past and then in the table change the link from loading the local file to the audio file already online.

In this way it will never happen these files to be uploaded again also after you install an update. Generally if you change an object on a page, most of it needs to be uploaded.

Many thanks!
