How do I show visitor counter

I have v 10 evolution. I would like to show the number of vititors on my homesite - Byt how?
I and not familiar with html.
Can I show it in the footer line?

go to shinystat.com and create a free account with them. once you have your user name, go back to the x5 program, in General setting> Edit Graphic Template> click on the footer tab, place a html object inside your footer, from the widget drop down choose shinystat counter and add your username over there.
that is all you need to do.

thank you for your help, it did help, i got a counter på my site, but what i counts i do not know? and it count twive for every page i visit on my homesite, not just numbers of visitors. whar habe i done wrong?
why is the counter jumping around from page to page?
why has it 2 lines?

where did you insert the counter? you insert it twice! remove one of them.

I did copy the html code manualy (pos 5) and later (pos 7) it was generatetd automatically, too !
