I made a test order (150422-ZC75) and the quantity discount was correctly applied ad the checkout. Also on PayPal it was shown the discounted price.

Thanks for info and advise. I see that buying 2 of the same item works fine. However, my customers buy 1 each of different styles, and this doesn't work. (Please see attachment).

I seem to remember this function was OK in Website X5 v.11, but not in the PRO version

Re Coupon Codes - I know this works OK because I've been testing it but it means changing discounts all the time which is time consuming, and marketing wise offers different and additional opportunities for encouraging customers to purchase. (I've proposed an idea on this topic regarding more functionality and ease of use).

Yes - I understand this and agree with you but....

1 - Why does the PRO version not do the same job as the version 11? (ie apply the discount correctly)?

2 - I have more flexibility if I have a permanent and individual discount as at present, but also use Coupon Codes in a different way? (doing a very specific and individual sales event for any of my customers that I choose to give the coupon codes to. This will replace or be in addition to any other standard discount).

Also, thinking further on this, why would anybody want to buy 2 pairs of shoes identical to each other or 2 identical dresses? People buy more than 1 item on a website but different styles.

The facility of discounting as at present is not useful - it is only useful if you are selling cans of baked beans or chopped tomatoes but nothing else!
