I have recently upgraded to Ver 11 Professional. I was previously using Evolution 11, I have just tried to upload some changes that I have made using 11 Pro - it connects to the server ok but fails to upload any files the status says Error, I have uninstalled and re-installed 11 Pro and it has the same error - so I have now stepped back and re-installed Evolution 11 and can now upload again. So not sure why 11 Pro will not upload. Do you have any ideas, I am using Windows 10 as an operating system, 64bit i5 2.6ghz processor, 4gb Ram so hardware at my end is sufficent.
Any advise would be appreciated, Thanks

Hello John,
It would be a good idea to start by comparing all the FTP connection details in Step 5, in particular the 'Optional parameters' - Version 11 Professional will need to be configured identically using the exact same parameters which are enabling successful FTP transfer in Evolution.
It's ever so easy to overlook the tiniest of details... see this thread for an example:

If you're confident that the FTP settings are 100% correct then the next likely suspect would be anti-virus and/or firewall hardware/software in your local network, which is interfering and blocking access to WebSite X5 Professional.
Bear in mind that your computer will see Evolution as a totally different software... you may need to add some 'exceptions' or 'rules' in order to permit the Professional version open access to the net.
Please keep us updated.
Kind regards,
Paul

Well I have sort of found a work around - I have checked the settings of software/firewall/WebsiteX5 and all is as should be, I finally got Pro 11 version to upload by having both versions ie Evolution 11 & Pro 11 installed - not an ideal solution as I have a laptop with limited storage, however at least Pro is now uploading with no problems, so not sure what is the cause as the initial problem Pro 11 only said 'Failed' as a status no error codes were visable and I don't know if there is a error log assosiated with the software. If I have any other 'light bulb moments' I'll let you know
