WsX5_ev12.exe being blocked by firefox and chrome

I took advantage of "offers to me" and purchased then attempted to download wsX5_ev12.exe first with Firefox, then Chrome. Both browsers blocked the download claiming it contained Malware or a Virus.
I subsequently successfully downloaded with IE11
I have scanned the download with Avast Antivirus, and successfully installed without issue.
Has anyone else reported this as an issue, and is there a workaround other than resorting to IE11?

I had the same problem with those two browsers.
Software from any vendor should be thoroughly tested with all major browsers before being offered to public.
This is not good for your professional image.
I too had the same problem with Firefox and Comodo antivirus but I just unblocked the downloaded exe and it all installed fine.
No problem here. I am using Firefox and Eset Smart Security A.V.
