Unlock Code - Mac installation through Crossover

Dear Team,
I am trying to install website x5 evolution 9 on a Mac through Crossover.
I have no problem with the installation until I reach the regisition part, where it will not connect to your server for verification. I would guess that this is because some windows files are missing. I do have my product key, but to unlock it manually I need the unlock code.
I'm not sure if it is possible to generate one with the Crossover installation or if it is something that you can send to me. If possible I would appreciate it if you could send it to me.
With many thanks and best regards,Gareth

Hello Gareth,
Your issue sounds more like a localised network issue rather than anything to do with Windows/Mac, to be honest. You could try temporarily disabling your firewall/antivirus and/or any proxy servers you might be using.
It's also possible to install WebSite X5 offline by following the instructions in the following FAQ:
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/25631
If having done so you continue to have difficulty then please wait for an official response from Incomedia, which you can normally expect within 24-48 hours.
Best wishes,
Paul

Thanks Paul for your input Paul,
I have already disabled the firewall and antivirus and I don't use a proxy.
I am also trying to complete the process manually, but when I press the "save instructions" button I get an unhandled exception error which says "unable to find an entry point named SHILCreateFormPath in DLL".
I'll await the official response. Thank you for your help,
All the best,
Gareth
Hi Gareth.
Some users did successfully get WebSite to work with Crossover, but that is not covered by the support we offer here.
You could either try and contact the Crossover support in order to recieve help regarding missing emulated dll files, or as I would suggest, install a Virtual Machine such as Parallel Desktop which would allow a more precise emulation of the environment.
I hope I've been helpful

For the sake of anyone who reads this topic with the same problem;
This is a known issue with Crossover that is due to be fixed in the next release. You can work around it by installing to windows XP. For this to work, I had to install .net framework 3.5, then WebSite X5. Once the installation is finished and it asks for the key, switch off your internet connection and paste the details in. Hit next, and manually activate. This will allow you to hit the save instructions button. Follow the instructions in there to get the large unlock code, and you should be able to finsh the registration and use the software as desired.
I hope this helps,
Best,
