It is currently not possible to pick the color of the arrows.

It is actually automatically generated based on the color of the Slideshow.

This is why, it is not possible to pick a desired colors for them.

So I'm stuck withh neon blue?  Automatically generated from what?  If I redo the gallery could the colour change again?  Even white would be appreciated.  Please fix this!  It's crazy and looks crazy on my dark site.  Thanks

Yes the color code is autogenerated by the program according to the other colors you picked.

As you already specified, in order to change that manually, you would need to override the generated HTML code, for which the staff doesn't offer support as it's external to the default function of the software.

I suggest you open a new public topic addressing this issue to our community, in order for other users to be able to help you promptly.

I figured it out that I just change the gallery colour it all changes. Thanks
