Somehow the program crashed and after restarting I tried to open the project.
The software tells me the project wasn't cloed correctly and asks if I want to continuie anyway. I say OK. This has happend quite some times before.
This time I get the message that there's an error koading the project:
[Fehler im XML-Dokument (154508, 10).]
All the Backups lead to the same error-message.
What should I do?
Should I send the xml file? I have invested quite some time to build this...

Sorry, the backups do not lead to the same error message, but they do lead to an error message telling there was an error while restoring. In fact they do not restore anything.

OK thir, I finally found help in this site, but I had to use google to find it.
The help function within here wasn't good.
So for everyone: This is what I did:
1. I searched the preferences window if wsx5 for the folder, where projects are stored.
2. I went there by Explorer and within the folder for this project (= name of project) I did search the backups (*.iwprj) within the subfolder "backup".
3. I first tried the freshest one, but it didn't work
4. I finally found that the size of backup files had decreased a lot at some point, so I took the newest of those backups, which were still "big"
5. I changed the name of the original project.iwprj in the root directory of the project to project_old.iwprj
6. I did paste the backup file (???.iwprj) into the root directory of the project and did rename it to project.iwprj
7. I one again tried to open my project, and - and - and- it did work fine.
