Hey there,
I have a little question concerning ecommerce:
Clicking "buy", the custumer has to state his name, adress, etc.
The problem is that the background of my website is black and the text of the page is also black! I have no idea how to change the text colour for that specific page.
Any ideas?
All the best,
Marcy

Hi Marcy.
You have some choices at your disposable for this matter.
You might change the font color in Step 1, so that it fits the black of the background.
You might change the background for that page only, at step 2, under "Properties" for a specific page
You might make use of external code in the same place at Step 2 in order to change the font color of that page only.
Hope I've been helpful
Hi Marcy,
Had the same problem. I solved it by changing the cart text colour via the shopping cart/options tab. From there I could change the colour of the cart's total cost cell by changing the "cell text" option shown in the image attached.
Hope that is of some help to you.
Onwards and upwards :)

Hi Marcy,
My appologies. the suggestion I made above does not work. I just discovered that.
I had tried to change the cart font colour from black to a dark grey to improve its visiblity on a certain page and had thought I had managed that via my suggestion above (too much midnight oil and not enough coffee, sorry). But changes in that "cell text" option only affect cart item descriptions (which I hadn't worked on at all at that point).
So, I have the same problem.
Quite why there is no option to universally change the cart running-total font colour is very surprising to me, let alone on a page by page basis.
Stephano's "Step 1" sounds like what I need too but I have no idea what step 1 is or where I might find it?
Again, sorry for passing my mistake onto you.
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa :)
Onwards and upwards,
Gordon.
Hi.
WebsiteX5 takes his name from the number of steps needed to complete your website, which are 5.
The 1° Step is the one called "General Settings", and there you can find the "Font Style" option. Under "Page text", you can set the defaul page text colour from your project.
Of course that is going to be the default color of the text for the whole project, and that's because normally a website should mantain about the same palette or style in every page to avoid confusing the user.
That is gonna affect the Cart font color too.
Should you need the text for that pages only to be different that would require additional code, for which the Staff doesn't offer support.
Hope I've been helpful
