Uninstalling previous versions of X5

I currently use X5 Pro v11 but noticed that my Program Files directory still has v10 and v9 installed. As I don't use either I would like to uninstall them but is it safe to do that or are all 3 incrementally connected in some way?
Along the same lines, if I install v12, can I keep v11 to edit existing sites I created with it?

Yes, it is safe to uninstall versions 9 and 10, and yes, you can keep version 11 installed alongside version 12.
