If I make a sound with download files such as PDFs, MP3s, pictures etc. How do I prevent other sites from hotlinking to the files.

One way of achieving this would be to 'lock' the pages which contain your media files:

This would then require that any visitors enter a username and password before accessing those pages. This method can be implemented from within WebSite X5.
Another way to do it would be to restrict downloads via the .htaccess file on the server (e.g. http://www.htaccesstools.com/hotlink-protection/). This method is external to WebSite X5.
