Is there a way to get the Link insertion dialog to always default to something different, such as “File or Url” on the left side and “Internet File” on the right side?

I insert many links daily and it always involves clcicking the link button, selecting the left side to be “File or Url” and then the right side side to be and “Internet File” then pasting in the url I am using.  In one website I have the options on the right set to open in a new window (which involves an additional click).  I'd love to simply click the link button, paste the url, and save.
