I can't get parallax to work

I used the tutorial on this website that explains parallax found here:
I also followed the instructions posted using the my Rosemary template.
I put an image and text in a row. I join the row, and I set the background to my image in row formats. I set it for the full width of the page. When I go to preview - it's just a static picture. I've tried everything I can think of but can't get the effect.
Please help.

Try it online, maybe the preview pane has not enough software to produce the effect.
Or, copy the adres of the preview pane (first select it then use right mouse button -> copy), and paste it in an seperate internet browser.
See if it then works, it's a little workaround I use to test the parallax option, other users don't have to there it works directly, but somehow my pc has the same problem. I haven't found a solution yet for it except this workaround.
