Uploading the changes brings back older files  en

I have a website in Professional 13. I have certain pages on the website which collects data using Email Form and sends it to an external php script.

I keep making changes to these scripts and upload them directly to relevant folder in the website using external FTP. It works fine and outputs as per the updated script.

The problem is when you make to changes to the other parts of the website and when the whole website is uploaded, it brings back the old version of the php script which I talked about in the first 2 paragraphs above. These old file versions do not even exist on my PC and they have certainly been overwritten on the website when I uploaded them last time using FTP.

It is frustrating. How does this happen? Where do these files come from? How can I overcome this?

The PHP file that modifies, is a Program/Project file, ...or a PHP EXTRA file...?...

(IT) - il file PHP che modifichi, è un file del Programma/progetto, oppure un file PHP EXTRA...?...

Thx. It is an extra / external PHP file.

You can attach the EXTRA file to the project so that it will be part of all the uploads.
For example, leave "files" as the default folder, and then the file path to use in the URLs would be:
"files/filename.php"
>>  Step 1 - Settings > Advanced > Statistics, SEO and Code > Options in the Expert sectionFiles linked to HTML code

(IT) - Puoi allegare il file EXTRA al progetto, in modo che ne faccia parte in tutti gli uploads.
Per esempio lasciare "files" come cartella proposta per default, e quindi il percorso del file da usare negli URL sarebbe:
"files/nomefile.php"
>> *** ***

.

ciao

Thanks Ciao. I thought so. My file path on server was different from the path on my computer which I was using for storing and editing the external PHP files. Once I renamed the folder name similar to the one on server and brought it withing the project folder, it appears to be working.
