Lost my project Website X5 Ver 12.

I am new to Website X5 Ver 12. I created a website and was going well. Published it to a personal online site. It looks good. Then me laptop crashed. My project with it. I bought a new laptop. Installed Website X5 Ver 12 on it. My I do not have access to what I created except at the online site where I published it to. Cannot make Website X5 Ver 12 see it. When I download the files from online I cannot make it see the webpages I have created. Anyone out there know if I can recover?

To restore your project you will need the original project folder from the old laptop. Unless the hard disk has totally collapsed, you should be able to copy the project folder from your old documents directory to your new laptop, but you may need assistance from someone who can remove the hard disk and copy the files for you.
WX5 cannot rebuild the project from the published site I am sorry.
If the old hard disk is not accessible your only recourse is to recreate the project and copy and paste content from the online site. We can offer assistance in retrieving images, template etc if required.

I am so sorry for what happened.
It is always advisable to regularly create backup copied of the project by exporting it of Step 5 using the option "export the Project" so to create a valid iwzip file you can then store on a drive pen or an external hard drive, so to avoid this kind of issues.
Now, if you do not have access to any of the original files, unfortunately it will be necessary to re-create the project, I am very sorry about this. In order to spare time, you can copy part of the contents (texts and images) from the online version and paste them into a new project.
