I found a similar link to my question, with a couple of replies but those replies did not work with me as I found the suggested technical solutions details missing from the reality of using X5

So: On the site that I have been asked to create I want to create an entry page with a single picture on it (I can do that easily enough) but I want the software to go to a predefined web page on clicking the picture - there doesn't seem to be an easy way (or any way that I can find)to do that linking to a page that exists on my PC. I don't want a background image link (which is all I can see in the page image > properties part of X5) - I want to display the HTML page. Any suggestions and easy-to-follow instructions?

The site hasn't been completed yet - so no link to look at and besides, it is an internal site not for www publication.
