How do you open a websitex5 website into websitex5 evolution software?

I have been using x5 for 10yrs & no longer works, at export stage message appears 'impossible to view list of files present on the server' so we purchased the evolution software. We can't open our website in evolution?

Hello Keara,
It's not possible to open a website in any version of Website X5. But if you created the project with any version of Website X5 (version 9 or higher) and still have the project in .iwzip version then you can import your project to current version of Website X5. Make sure that the preoject was created with evolution version because if you have created the project with professional version then you can't import it to evolution.
But you can do one thing. If you really want to open your website in Website X5 Evolution then do the following:
Open website x5>Then go to Step-3: Map>Create the pages what your website have like home page, Our School, Policies etc.>Now for each page you have to copy and paste the texts and insert the images/videos etc.>When successfully done, export your website to the internet

The IWP file of version 7 must be converted with version 9 to get an IWZIP file...
