If emails are not working for you, most probably the reason for this is to be found in your hosting's configuration. Did they give you credentials to correctly fill in the Email part of the software here?

Keep in mind that some servers need the sending email to belong to the same domain as your current website. They won't work otherwise.

I suggest you contact your hosting asking them to verify this for you so that you might solve this quicker
