Hi to all,
I use X5 evolution 11. Works fine. But I want to do something and don't know how.
I want to make a website in Dutch and Spanish. I want to detect the language of the visitor and if it is Dutch, then I want to display the Dutch website. If the visitor language is Spanish I want to display the Spanish website.
I've seen an done the solution with a welcome page, but then the visitor has to make the choice, so thats not what I want.
I hope someone as an answer.
Rergards,
Rob.

Hoi Rob,
Dit is later toegevoegd in X5 (vanaf v12) en niet beschikbaar in V11.
Als je dit in x5 wil zul je naar v16 moeten. Anders zul je custom code moeten gebruiken.
This is implemented in later versions of x5 (from v12 and on), so if you want x5 to do this you need to upgrade or use custum code (search internet)
Hey Andre, Rob
I have the pro version 16.3.1 , the latest ... and I am not agree with you
the automatic language detection to switch automatically is not working.
Always user need to choose.

I did not test nor did i say that it workd, just that the function is added in v12.
I tested this a long time ago, then it worked, it checkes the browser language and from there on switches automaticly.
You need to set in the entry page the pulldown to detect language automaticly.
If it does (I can't make this up from your post if you have tested it this way) not work I suggest to create an post for it so Incomedia can check.
Hello,
Help file useful?
"The welcome page is created but never displayed.
In fact, it just contains the code for detecting the language of the visitor's browser and redirecting to the corresponding home page. It is presumed that different language versions exist. If the detected language is not one of the website's languages, the visitor is redirected to the home page of the website in the default language."
@Axel (Wsx5.afsoftware.fr):
I think it's the same as "Attachment file" on the contact form. With french navigator is "Choisissez un fichier" and with an english navigator is "Choose a file" (when you have a multilangual website, but only french navigator the term is always in french, and not in english).
