Multiple Menu Objects in Header? 2nd menu object only displays as hamburger?

I have 1 menu object which is working properly - and I want to add a second menu object that only displays a specific folder of the full menu.
But in the template content and the published page, the second menu object only shows as a hamburger - (same in preview).
Can the second menu object not show as a normal menu? Is it "forced" to only be a hamburger display?

The second menu is shown as hamburger menu because it don't have space enough. Try to enlarge the space of the menu.

It stays as a hamburger even if I pick a menu level that only has 1 item, and the text for both the page item and folder level are just a few characters.... The menu object for the second menu object is the same size as the 1st menu object, and all the formatting is the same as for font size, widths, margins, etc - identical
Can you post a screenshot of your header content (into the software window)?
I have just tried to put three different menu in header and they work fine. Maybe I don't undestand what is the problem.
The first is the main menu, the second shows the pages included in "livello 3" and the last those of "livello 4"

Interesting; I can not dupliacte that.
If I copy the menu object, and then paste it - I get a duplicate menu object - but as soon as I set it to a different menu level then it changes into a hamburger. I will take some screenshots and post.
Did you copy/paste then modify? Or did you create new menu objects?

Attached is screenshot. I copied the menu item - then pasted. The pasted menu object was identical to the first menu object. As soon as I set the menu to be a different folder level then it changes to hamburger. Preview is the same.

Now I did copy and paste... It's the same
Is your website on line? If yes, can you post the link?

I am using a copy of my website to test the menu changes before I publish - so what is happening is not visible on the main site.
I can publish it to a server folder and then share the url once I have done that - I will do that tomorrow sometime - thank you for the help!

Adrian, it sounds like you either have too many menu objects to fit across the screen or the buttons are too wide to fit.
You can use a smaller font and make the buttons narrower, but you can also have a multi-line menu, there is a menu and submenu in this header (and another in the footer http://mountwaverleyrotary.org/)
In step 2 template, template content, select the menu and drag the handles so it can use more than one line, when successfully large enough, the words will appear (you may need to make your header deeper in step 2 template, template structure as I did)

Ah that may be it.
The main menu button width is 125, but the level menu button width is 240.
If the menu starts at level menu, the items will be too big.
I will try to fix that tomorrow, thank you for the suggestion.

well i have edited my level folder names to just be single characters for this testing - same problem. if the menu object is set to any level except the first default one which is "Menu", then it shows the hambuger.
i will get this published tomorrow
Adrian, how many pages in the folder?
Have you tried making the menu object very large to enable multiple rows as in my example??

So I have edited a copy of the site, and tested the menu object with the modified map - now it works - but not in the way I had expected. I can see it being useful for people with simplier sites (few pages and short page names), but for me it is not going to work with my configuration.
I dont want to get involved with custom menu code at this point as the more I delve into X5 the more I feel its not up to the job I want it to do and I will likely switch to another generator I've been testing. - I do find it a little disappointing that X5 doesn't have a more robust menuing system like some of the other site generators. Lots of fancy visual objects in X5 but not a robust menu object.
:(
Adrian, you could also place a vertical menu almost anywhere on a page or even move some of the pages under tertiary levels so there aren't so many to deal with in one line?
