Hi Comrades,
How do i classified different customer segment- ie: wholesale customer and normal customer? To which i would love to provide different discount tier to these different group of customers.
Your advice is much appreciated.

Hey mate!
Currently it is not possible to create a discount by specifying the type of users in the program.
However you can easily create different discount codes and communicate them to their respective users.
If you go to "Settings> Advanced> Shopping Cart e-commerce > Options" you can create and activate the promotional coupon and set the deadline etc.

You can "classify" customers in "Access Management", creating a new group or changing one if already present, however it is not possible to create a discount associated with a user.
You could create a page where you can select the group or users (and enable them at login) and enter the code there; and vice versa.
The ideas are many, just refine the ingenuity!
